Mental Wellbeing

Our aim is to support individuals and families to live healthy and harmonious lives. Our intention is to address some of the di cult and most pressing issues facing our community.

Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. In England, 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week.

We have 12 trained Mental Health Champions who can support, provide direction and sign post those in need.

Addiction is a rapidly increasing problem within our community. Addiction to drugs, alcohol and gambling are taking a grip of people’s lives and having extremely harmful consequences. We have held substance misuse and addiction workshops for men, women and children and intend to continue to take this on and be a support for those in need.
